Somewhere inside of me lives an Impressionist and every once in a while that painter needs to come forward. When I develop a painting I visualize the color, values, and even the brush strokes that will determine the medium to be used. I primarily paint with acrylics, but there are visions I have that only oils can achieve. This is one of them."
