Feeling very strongly about this miniature I asked the collector if I could enter it into the Society of Animal Artists' 2010 Members Exhibition. Out of hundreds of outstanding submissions, only 150 works of art were selected for this special 50th anniversary event and I felt honored that "On the Rocks" was going to be among them. The exhibition took place at the San Diego Natural History Museum, San Diego, CA in the fall of 2010.

On the Rocks was also recognized with First Runner Up at The Little Big Picture Show in Miles City, Montana.
