These two paintings were stolen from a miniature show at a northern New Jersey art gallery in 1998. All of the miniature paintings in this show were exhibited on large panels, allowing for about ten paintings per panel. Each painting was securely fastened with heavy gauge metal wire, and wire cutters had to have been used in order to have removed any art.

Little Faces is a painting of my two cats, Max and Andrew, with a few of my favorite collectibles. Near the close of the show I had decided that if this piece hadn't sold, I would keep it for my own private collection. I hope that whoever has this piece now is enjoying it as much as I would -- if it were hanging in my home today.

Always Watching was actually sold prior to it being stolen. But, because a sold piece had to remain on display until the end of the show, this painting became a target for theft. Needless to say, I repainted this piece for the collectors because they had already paid for it and did not want their money back! The duplicate painting, with a subtle difference that only I would recognize, now hangs in their home.
