THE SOCIETY OF ANIMAL ARTISTS, INC.
57TH ANNUAL EXHIBITION OF “ART AND THE ANIMAL”

The Society of Animal Artists is a world-renowned organization that has become the standard bearer of excellence in the field of animal art and within the greater fine art community.

Once again Linda is very proud to announce that another miniature painting, “Boneyard Birdies II” was selected for the Society of Animal Artists Annual Exhibition. This is a great honor as all work goes through a rigorous jury process. From the 396 submissions (326 2D and 70 3D) submitted by 231 signature and associate members, only 93 paintings and 31 sculptures were chosen for this prestigious annual exhibition.

The 2017 host venue for Art and the Animal will be The Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum in Oradell, New Jersey, that is situated in a carriage house on the estate of the late philanthropist/conservationist Hiram Blauvelt. The museum is dedicated to promoting all forms of wildlife art and the need for conservation of its subjects and their habitats. In addition, the museum is considered one of New Jersey’s best hidden and most interesting places to visit.
