62ND ANNUAL EXHIBITION OF ART AND THE ANIMAL The Society of Animal Artists is a world-renowned organization that has become the standard bearer of excellence in the field of animal art and within the greater fine art community. Linda is very proud to announce that her miniature painting, Salt Seeker was selected for the Society of Animal Artists Annual Exhibition. This is a great honor as all work goes through a rigorous jury process. Often only slightly more than one-third of the total submissions are selected for exhibition. The 2022 premier showing for Art and the Animal will be held at Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Redding, California. VIEW THE RESULTS SKETCH FOR SURVIVAL A REAL TIME ONLINE WILDLIFE ART AUCTION TO BENEFIT ENDANGERED SPECIES Explorers Against Extinction is a wildlife conservation campaign organized by the UK charity, the Real World Conservation Trust. The primary aim of Sketch for Survival is to raise awareness to the threats facing the worlds most iconic species, their habitats and to raise significant funds to nominated projects to protect them. Sketch for Survival 2021 auction site will launch September 3rd. This significant online auction comprises of sketches and studio art that depicts endangered wildlife and/or their habitat. All work has been donated by the professional art community from around the world. By buying artwork you are supporting our projects, as well as securing something beautiful for you wall. Once again, the Sketch for Survival invitational collection is joined by 100 juried pieces from the SFS Competition, bringing you a total of 200 works up for bidding. Lots expected to close between 6pm and 9:30pm UK time on November 28th. All donations and fund-raising this year will go to our 21 For 21 Project Fund. Weve pledged support of at least £2,100 per project giving us a target of £44,100 GBP. Wed love to smash this target, so that we can provide further support where it is most needed. Weve partnered with projects from Brazil to Borneo, representing many species and wild spaces from the forests to the oceans. In each case, human activity is the biggest driver of destruction.
